All are welcome to join Desert Flying Club at our monthly safety meeting Thursday, June 20th at 7pm. As usual, it will be held at our clubhouse. Everyone is welcome – members & non-members alike!
This month we will have Douglas Golubovic presenting on topics related to the summer heat in Las Vegas.
Come learn from one of our instructors before the next flight you take in the overwhelming heat.

Come to socialize at our clubhouse. Desert Flying Club will be providing Cane’s chicken & fries as food. Please bring your favorite desert or drink. There will be plenty of hangar talk & several board members will be present if you have any club-related questions.
One of our board members will be talking about his 15 hour cross country flight to bring back our newest club plane, N5204M!

October 2018 Safety Meeting – McCarran Airport Tower Tour
Please join us Thursday October 18th 2018 at 6:30 P.M. for a tour of an active control tower.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Space is extremely limited and you must RSVP by October 12 to be able to attend.
We will be meeting at the control tower, but parking is limited. If you are able to carpool with other attendees, that will reduce the parking requirements.

Desert Flying Club is hosting another Rusty Pilot Seminar at the club on March 9, 2019 at 9am. Complimentary breakfast will be available from 8-9am. And there will be a raffle to win aviation related prizes after the presentation at 12:30pm. We’re inviting you to join us and brush up on your aviation knowledge!
By attending, you’ll get 3-4 hours of ground instruction towards your flight review and a ground portion sign-off for the flight review. The seminar is free for AOPA members and $79 for non-members.
